THINGS TO SEE

1. In Buenos Aires:

You can see the Obelisco on the Avenue 9 de Julio. You can also see the most important historic buildings: Cabildo (Bolívar 65); Metropolitan Cathedral (San Martín, on the corner of Av. Rivadavia); Pink House (Balcarce 50); Palace of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires (Bolívar 1).

• In the north: woods, jungles and valleys. You can go to the Clouds´ Train. You can see the mountain chain “los Andes”. You can also visit the waterfalls of Iguazú, or see the mountain range in the city of Córdoba and San Luís. You can also visit the Atlantics coast. San Bernardo, Pinamar, Villa Gesell and Mar del Plata are the most popular beaches. There is also the “Gran Valle”, which consists of the cities of La Pampa, Neuquén and Río Negro.
• In the south: there are adventurous lakes and there are also the National Parks Lanín and Nahuel Huap. The south coast: the beaches of Patagonia have cliffs, dunes, and many possibilities to fish and rafting.
• Austral zone: that consist the south of Chubut, Santa Cruz y Tierra del Fuego. From glaciers to beaches of the Argentine sea, this region locks up part of the endless patagónica steppe, the last section of the mountain range of the $andes and steep coasts of diverse characteristics.

HOW TO GET THERE

By Bus: there are two main intercity bus stations in Athens: terminal A, about 7km northwest of Omonia at Kifissou 100 INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT: All the flight companies  that fly to Argentina arrive at the international airport Ministro Pistarini (Ezeiza), situated at 35 Km of de city of Buenos Aires, Capital Federal.

Aproximate duration  of the flight : from Madrid to Buenos Aires: 11:30 hs. from Mexico D.F. to Buenos Aires: 9:35 hs, and from  N. York to  Buenos Aires 14:15 hs.

TRANSPORTS

1. There is a bus service driving to the city every 30 min. between 05.00 and  23.00 (duration of the route: 45 min).
